The Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science is today a fortunate blend of tradition, experience and modernity in a large and prestigious University.For 10 years he was a high school teacher (1980 - 1990) and he started his academic carrier by taking his PhD (1994) in Organic Chemistry with thesis entitled 'Contributions to the conformational analysis of 1,3-dioxane derivatives' at Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca.
